The hooves rest on the tarpaulin out of alignment.
The idea of a deer is in pieces all over the room.

In November 2023 I worked together with Noora Sandgren in an artists residency on the island of Örö. In two weeks, the army had time to train in the waters south of the island and the news reported about NATO troops in nearby Hankoniemi. On 15.11.2023, a deer hunt was organized on the island. On the evening of the hunt we witnessed the skinning of the deer in the barn of the barracks area. Since then, Noora has had a bag of deer hooves in her freezer and Kastehelmi has two neatly cut deer ears.
